Refined Carbohydrates
A recent study conducted by a team at the University of Montpelier found that people who eat a breakfast containing high levels of refined carbohydrates were considered to be less facially attractive, on average, than people who ate breakfasts consisting of unrefined carbs.
For the purposes of this study, the people who ate breakfasts high in refined carbs were given a mass-produced white baguette, jam, fruit juice, and tea or coffee with sugar as an option, and those who ate breakfasts rich in non-refined carbs were given whole grain bread with butter and cheese, an orange or apple, and coffee or tea without sugar.
