Gender-Biasing
A study published in 2011 found that subjects tended to categorize people who consume vegetarian diets as being more virtuous but less masculine than people who are omnivorous. There are parallels in that research to another study, published in late-2019, that found people who identified as being more feminine displayed substantially more “ethical intent” in their purchasing decisions and biases than people who identified as being more masculine.
